Saddle Up for St. Jude!

Events begin at noon
Over the past 17 years the WF Stables family has proudly raised over $180,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the Saddle Up for St. Jude event.
Fundraising is accomplished in several ways:
- Participants create their own St. Jude fundraising site and solicit for donations. You can find the main fundraising page with participants and teams at https://bit.ly/4grEwbj.
- A silent auction is held using donated items from our community. Online bidding begins on October 11th and will end at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 18th. Items are on display during the event for onsite bidding. Onsite bids received at the event may not be posted until later in the evening; but winning bids and who the winning bidder is will be announced on Facebook. - In person donations are taken on the day of the event at the entrance as well as at the food wagon.
What happens the day of the event?
Participants engage in various fun activities, both on horseback and on foot, suitable for all ages. These can include:
- Costume Contest (with and without horses)
- Rescue Race
- Nylon Bowling
- Balloon Toss
- Arena Race
- Musical Chairs
- Cowboy Challenge
- Stick Horse Race
- Potato Race
To participate, either raise (set up your own page at https://bit.ly/4grEwbj or donate $75, then show up the day of the event.
Small children who wish to participate in just the costume contest and/or stick race can do so for any donation.
A food wagon is available with donated foods, including pizza, desserts, and drinks. Local businesses and individuals can contribute to the food wagon, either by contacting us or bringing something on event day.
Silent auction items are displayed for in-person bidding.
